The Punjab Government has announced to start of the recruitment process for 16000 teachers in Government schools across the province. The recruitment shall be done through Punjab Public Service Commission PPSC. Previously, Punjab Government had announced the recruitment of 33 thousand teachers, but in the first phase, 16000 teachers will be hired.
Punjab Education Minister, Dr. Murad Raas announced on social media that the summary for the hiring of more than 16,000 educators has been signed and forwarded.
Punjab Public Service Commission shall announce the recruitment process soon and advertisements will be published in major newspapers. Applications shall be submitted to PPSC. Test and Interview shall be conducted and a strict merit policy will be observed. It is pertinent to mention here that Schools in Punjab are facing a severe shortage of teachers and the Government has planned to recruit School Teaching Internees as well to overcome the shortage of teaching staff in the schools.
Dr. Murad Raas added that he is thankful to Allah for giving him the chance to create employment opportunities for the youth. He added that the recruitment process shall be initiated in full swing and will be completed Inshallah. The Punjab government has also announced to regularize 14 thousand teachers in public sector educational institutes of the province.
