Higher Education Commission (HEC) Islamabad has halted admission in all disciplines of Isra University Hyderabad and its sub campuses in Islamabad and Karachi. HEC has issued a student alert in this regard and advised students not to seek admission to any program offered by Isra University at its principal seat in Hyderabad as well in Islamabad and Karachi.
The alert also mentions that the same is applicable to all Medical related disciplines offered by the university through medical college or any other affiliated or constituent college. Admission in Isra University is stopped from session Fall 2022. The degrees of the students who enrolls at any of the program offered by the university including MBBS and BDS from Fall 2022 shall not be recognized by HEC.
However, it is pertinent to mention here that the University admissions are stopped, and the university is not declared illegal, hence admission may resume after some time when the university fulfills HEC requirement. However, for seeking admission to the university, the students must wait for the announcements from HEC.
